Isolating Your Interests

The advantage of starting out with something you’re knowledgeable and passionate about is that you’ll have plenty of ideas to blog about. One of the biggest failing points for bloggers is finding something to continually blog about. This is why it’s important to choose something you know and have interest in. It doesn’t matter all that much what the niche is. Perhaps you love to Cook, sew, work with wood, play Soccer or watch professional football. Any of these niches can be profitable. Having a good range of articles and PLR books on your hard disk gathering digital dust will never make you anything! Unless you can use them, then it is a total waste of money in purchasing them.

To make some profits from your PLR content, you have to use them to market your web sites and/or product. You need to take advantage of them to brand yourself out there in the market place, called the World Wide Web. It is a huge marketplace, and you are a tiny fish in this huge pond. Unless you can be seen, then nobody will know you exist. It is important to make your articles stand out, making your articles stand out will be the difference between staying in the small pond or swimming out into the ocean with the rest of the big fish!

It is easy when you are starting out on the web to buy every PLR product that is being offered for sale. You see the potential of the product and you buy without a second thought as to what you need to do with it, and the time it will take to make any changes to them.

You might have bought these articles with rights and suddenly you are at a loss as to what you can do with them. Normally with private label rights you are allowed to claim authorship of the articles but do check on any licenses that come with the Private label articles first. But if you do buy PLR articles then you always need to remember that you will also be sharing them with a number of other people. Even if the restriction is for 30 people that means that another 29 people will have exactly the same articles that you have purchased. If there rights allow these articles to be given away then even more people will have the same articles.

There is money to be made with Private label articles, but you need to be aware that it will take some time to do the work required, however the more work you put in to make your PLR articles truly unique, the more benefits you will see later on. If you use these articles wisely then you will see the benefits from buying them. What you shouldn’t do is buy hoping to make money, while all the time they remain on you computer. The articles are worth far more to you if they are “out there” promoting your websites and products than when they are sitting on your hard drive gathering digital dust.

As you consider using PLR articles you will be able to take advantage of articles in many different niches, and be able to sell those that are not relevant to your niches. When you are rewriting these PLR articles you will be gaining a lot more knowledge on a subject and you might want to consider moving into that niche as well. So whilst it may seem like a tedious job, spending hours editing PLR material, I can assure you that the end rewards more than make up for those hours you spent typing away on your keyboard.

1) A proper Blogger account or domain name has been set up and Blogger, Wordpress or Joomla is your blog software.

2) You have your keyword(s) in the title.

3) You have made a proper About Page that includes your keyword(s).

4) The Privacy Page is complete or you have revised a copy of mine.

5) You have created your Sitemap, verified it and it contains no errors.

6) You have written at least two or more original articles and posted them on you site.

7) Ten tags per article with one keyword included as a tag. Makes no sense.
You have multiple categories, if you blog software supports them.

9) You have installed your Technorati link and claimed your site.

Getting indexed in the Google search engine is our next task. If you are not indexed, it will be very difficult for someone to find you using the Google search engine. So how are you indexed? After you have polished up your Blog and have registered with Adsense it’s time to get you indexed.

Now, log in to your Adsense account, the one you you created in Make Money - Adsense. Click on the “Resources” Tab. Now click on “Webmaster guidelines”. Under the heading “When your site is ready” you will see a hyperlink to addurl.html. Go ahead and click on this link.

This new page will have a sub-title called “Share your place on the net with us.” In the URL input text field type your blogs URL address. Then add a comment and your keyword. Enter the squiggly name to verify a human entered the text and press the Add URL button.
